Man arrested on outstanding warrant after car crash...

BANTAM - A Torrington man involved in a motor vehicle accident in New Hartford was arrested after police discovered a warrant was issued for his arrest for allegedly failing to appear in court.

Michael Carlson, 26, Main Street, was ordered held on bond a total of $22,500 bonds in three cases that were called by Judge Richard Marano Friday in Bantam Superior Court.

Doctor pleads guilty to drug counts, will surrender medical license...

Savage, 49, who will be sentenced May 18, wept and was nearly inaudible as she said "guilty" when Common Pleas Judge Michael L. Tucker asked her how she would plead.
