Men arrested after OxyContin sale...

Submitted by admin on Fri, 2007-04-27 16:53.

Detectives Brian Cohoon and Michael Reynolds were watching Graziano’s house after identifying him as being involved in drug sales from prior surveillance at a known drug location, Deputy Chief Russell Jenkins told the Forum.

“Detectives had been conducting surveillance of Graziano on previous dates and observed activity consistent with drug sales,” Jenkins said.

According to Jenkins, Al Rahmawi arrived in a black Ford Escort that the detectives had seen at the house on a prior occasion.

The detectives watched as Graziano exited the house and entered the Escort and then followed the car to a Randolph business where Graziano made a brief visit.

Graziano was placed under arrest and charged with distribution of OxyContin, possession of OxyContin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate the drug laws, and possession of a dangerous weapon.

Al Rahmawi was charged with possession of OxyContin and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.

Graziano’s roommate, who was not present at the time but had access to the marijuana, will be summoned to court for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

His name is not being released because he has not yet been charged, Jenkins explained.
