OxyContin, a highly abused painkiller, is often the target of robberies, Gildea said.
“I know we've had pharmacy robberies, but I don't know if OxyContin was the main target,” he said, adding that he had heard of a few cases of OxyContin thefts in Richland.
Hilltown police are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call (215) 453-6000.
