Tasmanian police hope a change in routine will help them catch an armed robber thought to be responsible for at least four hold-ups in the Hobart area this year.
Police say a man armed with a pistol held up a pharmacy at New Town yesterday morning.
He escaped in a car with a quantity of a pain killing medication, the same drug taken in three previous armed robberies at another pharmacy nearby.
Detective Inspector David Wiss, believes the same man is responsible but says a change in his method of escape may be the breakthrough police need.
